I think my favorite work today was the story of Jenni the half girl half cat. That was honestly one of the funnier fake documentary movies I had ever seen. The simplicity of the idea, a girl who is half girl half cat and how she does things like try to climb trees and won't stop clawing at the couch. Erika did a great job with cutting the film so it paused and switched shots at the right times. I was laughing for most of it because it was ridiculous, a girl in a cat suit trying to climb a tree and getting her tail caught in the spokes of her bike. Watching this piece made me wish I had used humor in my narrative instead of raw emotion, simply because the cleverness of the narrative really impressed me.
